1-Day Mini Retreat
 ENCAUSTIC PAINTING + SOUL RENEWAL 

Treat yourself to a day immersed in “Creative Stretching”. Create mini-masterpieces while “Painting with Fire” and sink into the synergy of a supportive, joyful group. Begin the day with light yoga or stretching to release tensions. Soak in Penny’s personal painting techniques during demonstrations. Guided instruction and free-paint-time elicit luscious art pieces crafted from beeswax, pigment and heat. Enjoy poolside treats while dipping toes in the water. Conclude your day by restoring in the saline pool, spa or fireside. Toast to your new friends with cocktails, mock-tails and munchies during our signature closing experience.

LOOSE AGENDA: 

9am: Optional easy yoga/stretching poolside. Get to know YOU and the group. Coffee/tea light bites poolside

10am-12:30pm: Encaustic (wax + pigment + fire) demonstrations and painting

12:30-1:30pm: Poolside lunch + libations. Compassion sharing

1:30-4pm: Additional demos + free-paint or guided instruction on special techniques

4-5:30pm: Gather and restore - pool, spa and fireside. Signature closing + goodbyes

REFUNDS: Please review certain limitations on refunds that are based on how much advance notice is received.

  • 30+ Days In Advance:
    Complete refunds available, less our 3% credit card merchant fees.

  • Less Than 30 Days in Advance:
    Refunds or credits not allowed, Guests are allowed to transfer or sell their ticket to someone else. Contact Penny if you’d like to see if there is a wait list on your registered session.

Even if canceling due to illness, refunds are not possible under 30 days, as I will have purchased extensive supplies & refreshments.

WORKSHOP & CLASS DEPOSITS:

At this time we do not offer deposits. If you are interested in attending a workshop or class, we require full payment to reserve your spot. If the class is scheduled so far out in advance that you are unsure of your availability, we recommend you review our refund policy that allows for full refunds based on how much advance notice you provide, and purchase a ticket if you are comfortable doing so.

  • If a minimum capacity isn’t met or any issues arise with the scheduled class, we reschedule or cancel the class. All currently guests will have the option to move to another class of a similar type or stay enrolled in the class when it starts at its new date. If neither option works, the student will be refunded their fee for the class.
