About the Event
In this mini work session you’ll learn the ancient art of encaustic painting. Fine Artist, Penny Treese, will demonstrate several techniques using pigmented wax and a blow torch to fuse luscious layers to birch panels. She’ll cover safety and specialty equipment then guide you, step-by-step, in creating a luminous encaustic work of art, ready to adorn your walls.
