This level 2 lesson demonstrates crucial steps in creating successful, intriguing encaustic paintings. 

Techniques covered: fusing to create smooth and textured surfaces, blending colors using light and heavy heat, mark-making, scraping to reveal color, translucent layering, use of oil pastels/oil sticks, accretion method of building texture and more.
