About the Event
Learn how to embellish and enhance your photo's narrative, transforming it into a painting. Use wax to achieve a transparent, or smokey/dreamlike look or learn to mix pigments to add texture and built a sculptural effect. You'll use a blow torch to "paint with fire" and bring your photo to life. Bring collage items if you're interested in embedding or de-bossing elements, such as lace, vintage jewelry or botanicals. After registering, you'll receive a supply list with instructions on paper, size, panel, etc.
Skill level: Beginner to Intermediate

All supplies included. Optional to bring additional panels. 8x10x1/4" hardboard provided. Limited supply 8x10 cradled panels for purchase at beginning of class, $10 each.
